It was thrilling for Cantina to be a part of the iconic franchise, The Hunger Games. Wonderfully directed by Francis Lawrence, the franchise brought to life the books written by Suzanne Collins. We were fortunate to be part of the creative process from pre-production through post.
Once in post-production, we worked closely with VFX Supervisor Charlie Gibson, and VFX Producer Walter Garcia, to create holograms, large-scale graphics, and futuristic displays that weave the complex plot elements together to tell the heroic story of Katniss Everdeen.

Katniss Everdeen is in District 13 after she shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta and a nation moved by her courage.

Mockingjay: Part 2
Follows The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 with Katniss Everdeen preparing to win the war against President Snow and the tyrannical Capitol. Together with Peeta, Gale, Finnick, and others, she travels to the Capitol to kill Snow.
On Set GFX
Working closely with Production Designer Philip Messina, we designed numerous styles of content to be used for on-set playback. Cantina Lead Designer, Venti Hristova, worked on-set to ensure that the graphics were integrating seamlessly with the practical sets while also fulfilling the needs of the narrative.
