Gumdrop is a character derived from the British Science Fiction Association award-winning novel Tik-Tok by John Sladek. Set in the near future, Gumdrop cheerfully fulfills her role as a robot maid while dreaming of life’s possibilities.

Gumdrop is part of a larger story world based on the Tik-Tok novel that Cantina is developing with writer/director Kerry Conran, creator and director of the acclaimed 2004 film, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow.
